Pure-metal’s evolution is safe and justified with the release of “Ritualistic” – a polished, commanding and titillating platter.

Think Priest (Painkiller) and Scorpions (Love at First Sting) with shades of Pantera, Anthrax (Bush era) and later day Megadeth. Keith’s vocals are, as usual, calm and cool with a lyrical delivery of bloodless dominance. The riffs are infectious, low tuned and well hinged. Lead solos crescend and sting with tasty notes a plenty, ones which are placed to accentuate melody and drama.

Standout tracks include opener “Electrified”, followers “Hot Zone” and “I Am The law” (get the Judas vibe!), “Nocturnal”, “Busted” and “Desperation”, some carrying the playfulness of the Bengal Tigers. The production is A1 with an overall sound of ascending stratospheric dynamics. Before you, awaits 12 surgical strikes of prime-time heavy metal
